Just a glimpse of my ever-evolving interior—when winter arrives, a big basket of wood finds its place by the stove, ready to create that warm, chalet-style ambience. As the seasons turn to summer, a large bouquet of fresh lavender in a white jug fills the room with its calming fragrance, adding a sense of freshness for anyone who appreciates its company.

The corner opposite the fireplace has seen many transformations over time. It was once a children’s study space, then evolved into a cosy reading nook with an IKEA multifunctional chest topped with a soft sheepskin rug and a warm table lamp. At other times, it’s been the beloved Lego corner, complete with a layered STOKKE play table that has grown with my kids yet still fits seamlessly within the overall living room design.

I love playing with contrasts when styling a room or adding those small but impactful touches. Here, the oversized New York print—an inherited piece from the previous homeowner—introduces an urban edge. Its scale gives the room a touch of glamour, while its monochrome tones create a striking contrast against the warm Farrow & Ball cream walls and the characterful wooden fireplace surround.

The interiors of my home are shaped by my own aesthetic and lifestyle choices, but interiors also work the other way around—they influence us, subtly guiding our daily habits and moods. As a property stylist, I take this philosophy into my projects. I lean towards classic, timeless, and multifunctional pieces, but I also love adding contrasting elements that bring balance, visual interest, and personality. This approach ensures that spaces feel stylish, versatile, and appealing to a wide range of prospective buyers or tenants—while still holding onto a touch of fun.
